Annual Fall Members Meeting - Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2020
We held our Annual Fall Members Meeting on Saturday, Sept. 26th at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom
At the meeting, the LCMWC (Lake Canyon Mutual Water Company) discussed several topics (Agenda), including:
- Annual Financial Review
- Year in Review: what LCMWC has accomplished since the last annual meeting
- Looking ahead: information on LCMWC priorities for next year
- Election results for board members for the next 1-year term, ending September 2021.
We also had a presentation from Tanya Diamond and Ahiga Snyder, residents and the founders of
Wildlife Pathways, on their successful efforts to create paths for wildlife to safely cross Highway 17
and on how to live safely with mountain lions in our community.
We also talked about topics of fire safety and evacuations that are critical to our neighbors care.

Current Pricing
Our new Pricing Model began on October 21st, 2016.
This model charges the following, using a Base Fee plus a Consumption Fee:
Base Fee: $180 per month Base Fee (a change from the current $200 per month)
Based on each improved property
There is no extra charge for an additional unit(s) on each property.
PLUS
Consumption Fee: $.01 (1 cent) per gallon for all gallons consumed up to 200 gallons per day average
For a 28-day billing period, up to 5600 gallons
For a 35-day billing period, up to 7000 gallons
$.02 (2 cents) per gallon for all gallons consumed over 200 gallons per day average
For the average member using 90 gallons per day, for an average 30-day month:
- the former charge was $200.00 per month
- the new charge is now $207.00 per month ($180.00 Base Fee + $27.00 Consumption Fee)
The less water you use, the lower your bill. The more water you use, the higher your bill.
The total company revenue is projected to be the same as our current revenue, so LCMWC can continue to meet both our
current costs and future capital costs.
